Shopping Online for Mother's Day is Great Thanks to Walmart

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart and Walmart Foundation for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Duchess Shopping at Walmart

I struggle with Mother's Day gifts every year. I want my gifts to be thoughtful. I want them to mean something more than what they actually are. I want the moms in my life to like them. That is why, after last year's endless quest to find the perfect gift, I gave up. There is no perfect gift for Mother's Day, because no one object can contain or properly reflect the amount of love I and my kids' have for their mom.

But while that is hard enough for me to explain to myself in the self reflective word cavern of my mind. It is even harder to explain to a three year old and a one year old. So we still buy gifts, not because we will find the perfect one, but because whatever the kids pick will be a reflection, a glimmer of the love they have.

So instead of packing the kids into the van and driving to a bunch of different locations this year, we hopped on line to check out Walmart’s Empowering Women Together. Walmart has created what they call, "...a Store For Good, and a dedicated space on Walmart.com that connects products from women-owned businesses around the world with U.S." You can read more about it by following the link above!

What was an endless get out of the car, get in the car, get back out of the car, get a cookie, find another cookie because Duchess dropped the cookie, but now Captain wants a cookie too, but I only got one cookie because I am DUMB, nightmare last year has become as easy as Duchess pointing at the computer screen and saying, "Let's get mommy those cups! Mommy really like cups!"

Mommy really does like cups. We have a few too many cups, but if Duchess wants to get the cups for Stevie, I can throw out a few of mine to make room.

Here are some more details about the Empowering Women Together Program! Check it out!

  1. Very noble, Walmart and John (Dad). As a dad of daughters I think I've found where I'll be making my Mother's Day purchases next go-round. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

  2. On this mother's day if you don't have time to go outside for buying gifts, then online shopping is the best option to adopt. Buy online gifts in India and give the precious gift to your mom.

  3. Yes, online shopping is the best time saving option. For any day, whether its a mothers day or any other occasion, now you can easily buy gifts for your loved one. At the time of Rakhi I sent online Rakhi to USA to my brother. Distance is not a big issue nowadays, you can easily enjoy any festival with your family.
