I read it to my husband, barely able to get the words out through absolute FITS of laughter complete with tears. WHAT a great writer you are. Nicely done with the thank you/gift card too. As a supervisor and then an Assistant Manager I always told my employees that there was no job they could do that I hadn't, and this included those "crappy" situations. In fact, thanks to my iron-lined stomach, I tended to be the ONLY one that was able to clean up after the homeless man that would come in to use the bathroom. He somehow managed to leave large "gifts" along the back of the toilet seat, near the tank. I'm assuming he stood up to do his business, guess he didn't want to get anyone else's germs? The real kicker was when one of my delivery drivers came up to me during business hours to tell me a young boy was in the bathroom urinating into the trash can! I approached the parents and asked to have a private word, they didn't want to get up, so in front of their friends I explained we needed their children to be escorted to the bathroom in the future as their son did his business in the trash can and now my employee, or myself, was going to need to clean and sanitize it. The mom was horrified, she was very kind and apologized, although she did nothing to reprimand her son. Her friend on the other hand insisted it shouldn't have been a big deal because the kids was only six years old. I'm sure my face lit up like a Christmas tree when I told her "Well then, he shouldn't be going to the bathroom without his parents ANYWAY, now SHOULD he?" Don't beat yourself up about it, at some point everyone is going to have to clean up some kind of crappy mess. That resulted in us having to take EVERY ball out and clean. I think your recognition was AWESOME! But I also wanted to point out that I cannot begin to even know how many times a parent knowingly left without telling anybody or it happens and the parent didn't know to tell.(It can happen, I was approached one day by a kid telling on another kid that was literally squatting and taking and shit in the back play area). So I guess my point is, how would you feel knowing your kid was playing in those disgusting balls(heehee, love Big Daddy) so if you read his previous post and thought "I would have done the same thing", DON'T, you'd want the same respect for your child.Sibohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06982049690710092590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7385734613853151197.post-60723983647072149642013-11-18T11:47:03.972-07:002013-11-18T11:47:03.972-07:00As a father of a toddler boy whose diaper once gap...As a father of a toddler boy whose diaper once gaped, thus allowing solid matter to plop unceremoniously on the concrete floor in a Sam's Club, I feel your pain and applaud you!

Life is messy. But you do know that even if you'd crawled up in there with bleach and sterile rags yourself, some d-bag on Reddit would have called you a crappy person anyway (no pun intended) right? Obviously for not anticipating your child's every bodily function LIKE A GOOD PARENT SHOULD. After the rooty tooty fresh and fruity- my mom hada bit of a diarrhea accident that was also mostly contained in her track pants. Like you- I skedaddled out of there as fast as a grown woman transferring a mortified 70+ yo woman into a wheelchair and into the car. It was awful- and to this day,I can't go back (it has been over 10 years). I may go back and make restitution to an unknown employee to assuage my guilt. Thanks (is it okay to still have a slight giggle at the memory?).
mjekwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16025026457886374834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7385734613853151197.post-4018152489796797412013-04-16T01:22:27.509-06:002013-04-16T01:22:27.509-06:00I dont have children but I "stalk" your ...I dont have children but I "stalk" your post.
